About Strivin To Be Green
What happens when you put people in a run-down house with the challenge of renovating the place to be environmentally friendly? You get Strivin to be Green! Season One: JDs Adventure
Watch as JD lives in a house while renovating it for sustainable living. What will happen to the house when it is done? It will be sold to the highest bidder with the proceeds going to green charities nominated by Strivin To Be Green members. The goal is to purchase the house (somewhere in Michigan) in time to have an Open House on Earth Day (April 22, 2010). But JD needs your help to make this project happen. Please contribute $4.22 and before April 22, 2010 and you will be added as an Founding Member of StrivinToBeGreen granting you a Founding Membership account with the ability to nominate charities to receive the funds and other member privileges for the life of the show including any future seasons and projects. Once the home is purchased and ready for us to begin renovation on it, Founding Members will be invited to attend the Open House as well. After the membership module has been added to the site (part of the funds raised is used for that) you will receive an email invitation to activate your Founding Membership account.
